Nampya Farmers Market was established to reduce fragmentation in the produce market so that livelihoods of smallholder farmers can get back to the centre of the food equation while the urban population can affordably access quality, safe and fresh food. To achieve this, Nampya Farmers Market operates a mobile-based business-to-business food distribution and logistics platform connecting rural smallholder farmers to the urban retail food retailers in a bid to create an efficient, transparent and formal agri-food marketplace.
