What does a green enterprise look like in Uganda? What are their business models, what are their financing needs, and to which goals are they contributing? In these UGEFA Sectoral Briefs we delve into these questions, looking at the Clean Energy, Green Manufacturing and Sustainable Tourism sectors.

The Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator (UGEFA) welcomed key actors in the Ugandan entrepreneurial ecosystem to join (online) interactive UGEFA Green Finance Dialogue sessions on November 10 and 13 to explore: What do green enterprises in key sectors want to spend money on? What economic, social and environmental impacts result from these investments?

The Eleven Eleven Twelve Foundation, based in Nigeria, invited UGEFA to speak during the 2020 Green Webinar Series. The session on 04 November 2020 focused on the topic of Green Finance and explored programmes that are creating jobs and can help the region transition to green economies.
